Learned from blogs

Hello..I learnt that when you have ablog you an write as many posts as possible. I think that by having a blog I have also gotten a little bit better in writing essays, blog posts etc… I really do suck at writing. I also now know that when I type some thing out I really do have to spell check it.

I have been a part of a network by putting links on my blog. For example I put a link to my friend Toni’s blog then I am linked to all her people. By putting other links on my blog I am in a way telling people to go and check out some other blogs too.

I have learnt some little blog tips from other people’s blogs if they give tips. Before when people would write about school, they would give me some idea’s to do for my assignement. They could give some tips on how to improve it etc…

I have contributed by having links on my blog. I sometimes write a comment but not very often. To tell you the truth I really dont like commenting because in the summer I would rather be out in the nice weather instead of inside on the computer. So I guess I haven’t really contributed very much.

Well this is probably my very last post of the school year.  i ahve decided to keep my blog open so come and check it out sometime during th e summer.

Best posts of year.

In class we have to do two final blog posts. For one of my best blog posts I chose Las Vegas. I likes this post because it is very descripitive. It is also one of my longest posts too. I like this post also because It was a lot of fun. It brings back some of the memories that I had on that trip. It was a blast. I also used paragraphs…maybe because it was actually quiet long so I would be able to have a few paragraphs.

This is the second best post that I wrote this year. It is about Walking home in the rain. I like this post because I actually took some time too find a poem that fit in with the topic of the post. This one was also a longer post with some paragraphs in it. I like how I said some things dont change about jumping in puddles when you go from young to older.

I find it wierd how these posts are both from my newest blog. In my old blog I wrote very short, boring and pointless posts.

Captain Copyright

Today in class my teacher was talking about a website. The website is called Captain Copyright. This website is supposedly supposed to teach you about copyright which it doesn’t. There are words in the word search that I don’t even know. Then I went to the entire website and they didn’t even explain anything about copyright. So I didn’t think that was a website that is supposed to teach people above the grade of around 5. That website is particularly made for people under the age of 7 or so.

They could fix up the website by Describing what copyright is. They could make the activities a little bit more challenging so people know that they actually have to try to pass that level or in this case game. They could add some more copyright teachers guides that have an good idea to do.

Sub

Today we had an substitute. We actually had two!! We had one in the mourning and one in the afternoon. The sub in the mourning said that we needed two substitutes because otherwise the sub would go crazy. That isn’t a very good thing. Today we got our test scores today. I got an 82% I guess it wasnt that bad. I could have done better though.

Well know that we are done our social unit, it is time to start a knew unit in Science. I dont really enjoy either so it doesnt really matter to me. Well I think that we are going to do our new unit on Water. Great! Well I shoulld update you too see if this unit will be any good or not. Well thats all for know. Ttyl.

“Getting to the third date”

  Well  Monday and Tuesday we had a sub. When we first star the day, we start it off with silent reading. I have been reading a book calledgetting to the third day. At first it was very boring but I got into it around the end. I am not saying that I recommend this book but if you dont mind to reading a bit before you start to like it then you might like it.

  I think I might have liked this book because I skipped ahead and then I couldnt wait to get to that part in the book. I finally finished it and it was quiet okay. In some parts I got a little confused and then I had to go back and re read it. It was like most of the books that I read. The beginning really sucks but then I read on and they usually end up to be interesting.

  Know that I finished “Getting to the third date” I have decided to read “Inkspell.”  I read the first book called “Inkheart.” was a very good book and I do recommend that you read it. i foudn it interesting through out the enitree book. Well gtg. Talk to you later.

Social scripts

  Well in social studies were are studying Rome. Well are almost done that unit though. One of the assignments that we are doing before we finish the unit is making a Rome script. We had a few choices to pick our topic on. My partner and me decided to do rich women in Rome. We are going to do it based on their daily lives. What they do when they wake up to when they go to sleep. We have some information but not enough yet. We don’t have a clue how we are going to perform the play yet. I have a few ideas so I will have to discuss it with my partner, then we might be able to have a start on the script. I think that the play has ot be 5-6 minutes long. Well I should go and get some stuff done. Ttyl.

Good blog posts

Well I am back to do my blog posts of the week for this week. I actually dont mind finding blog posts of the week.

One of the blogs that I picked for this week is on the outsiders site/rubric. I enjoyed this post because I dont like to make rubrics either. She finally admitted that she is a piczo geek(which is a good thing.) She is really good at blog posts.

I also picked a friends post. She realized how important her friends are to her. It seems that she trusts them and that is very important in a good friendship.

Graphing

Well we finally had our math test on wednesday. I did good i got 94%. The math test was on surface area and volume of 3d shapes, It is really confusing at first to do the surface area, but after a while it gets easier. It takes a while to do those types of questions, thye take up a lot of paper to if you do it neatly. I think that for this unit in math we are doing it on Graphs. Graphs aren’t hard to do right know, but they just take a long time do them if you want it done neatly. So I have one graph left to do, but it shouldn’t take a lot of time to get it finished. Well i should probably go and finish it so I dont have to do it later. Ttyl.

Best blogs

Well today in class Mr. Fisher told us to go to blogs that our class has written and pick two really good blogs posts. This week I picked Anna’s blog post on ~ Friday Night Fun~. I picked this blog post because it seemed really fun and interesting. She also used paragraphs!… I like the look.
My second choice is joellee’s blogpost on My site. She says how her outsiders site is way better then Drews. I like this because it is unique and she is talking about her project that she is doing in school. I like the way she is pretty confident. Hope the site turns out nice Joellee!

Upating

Yesterday when I was trying to put my smoky on a bun, and i burnt my finger. It hurt really bad. Then my grandma said imagine how your cousin is doing with all his burns. I realized that I forgot to update you all on how he is. Well right know he is doing okay. He has finished all of his skin grafting. They have to patch him up still. His voice box is doing okay, because when he jumped back when the propane exploded he open up his mouth and it harmed him so they were wondering how his voice box was. He can see know, but he still cant talk. My grandpa went back to visit him.  I also found out that he is in The Health Scientists center in Winnipeg, he isn’t in Brandon. Well that just about all that I know so far so next time I find something else about how he is doing I will try my best to update you.
